The SLD266ZS from Sony Corporation is an IR monolithic octa-beam laser diode that operates from 785 to 800 nm. Each beam can be individually operated and emitters are placed with 30Micrometer intervals between them. It delivers an output power of 10 mW while consuming a current of up to 35 mA. The laser diode is available in a TO can package and is ideal for laser printers, digital copier and laser beam printers.
