Company Overview

NEL has been developing and commercializing optical communications devices since 1995. As a result, we have made a number of achievements such as promoting the standardization of AWG and developing 10Gbps direct modulation uncooled DFB laser modules, the first in the world in an InGaAs device. In the future, in addition to expanding communications products such as the various optical transceiver modules and AWG compound boards based on passive and active optical device technologies that we have developed up until now, we intend to actively provide products that respond to market demands in non-communications related fields such as light source equipment for new wavelengths.
