Lextar Partners with X Display for Commercialization of Next-Generation MicroLED Display Technology

Leading provider of opto-semiconductor solutions, Lextar, has announced a Development and License Agreement as well as a Services Agreement with microLED displays expert, X Display Company (XDC). Under the agreement, Lextar has licensed XDC’s Intellectual Property, and both Lextar’s and XDC’s customers will be supplied Lextar’s high-performance MicroLEDs.

XDC’s patented elastomer stamp mass-transfer technology is regarded as the most viable method to mass-produce MicroLED displays for applications ranging from TV, Signage, Monitors, Laptops and Smartphones. XDC licenses its technology and supplies components to the display industry.
