G&H, a global leader in innovative photonics solutions, has announced its active participation in LASER World of PHOTONICS, Europe's premier trade fair for photonics. The event took place from June 27 to 30, 2023, at the prestigious Messe München in Germany.

During the exhibition, G&H presented an impressive range of cutting-edge products, including high-performance laser systems, advanced optical components, and tailor-made photonics solutions. Attendees have experienced the unique opportunity to explore G&H’s pioneering research and development initiatives, as well as engage in discussions regarding potential partnerships and collaborations.

Aerospace & Defense

The 10x continuous ruggedized MWIR zoom lens assembly in action on the stand in their aerospace and defense display area. This demonstration emphasized the low-SWaP (size, weight, and power) integrated payload crucial for such applications. Additionally, review motorized zoom hardware, featuring their MWIR NightCrawllR and the latest SWIR product - FireAnt.

Industrial & Telecom

In the Industrial & Telecom display area, G&H highlighted a sensing subsystem, showcasing their expertise in delivering customer-centric subsystem design, engineering, and manufacturing solutions.

The demonstration underscored the diverse applications of G&H's products, including LiDAR and distributed fiber sensing, utilizing their highly regarded DFBs, Fiber-Qs, and Erbium-doped Fiber Amplifiers specifically designed for pulsed operation.

Life Sciences

G&H’s focus within the Life Science sector will revolve around Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), a rapidly growing field renowned for its high-resolution two-and-three-dimensional imaging capabilities with micrometre precision. They have displayed a core subsystem based on swept source OCT, featuring our ultra-wideband coupler at its centre.

The model will include a collimator, a variable optical delay line, a polarization controller, and a Polarization Diverse Receiver (PDR). This design exemplifies their commitment to collaborating with customers to provide effective, subsystem-complete Designs For Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) options. Moreover, G&H presented its high-performing Pockels cells, specifically designed for medical lasers used in applications such as laser tattoo removal.
