Dr. Martin H. Ettenberg Named SPIE Fellow for Redefining the Future of Photonics

Ettenberg, has been named a Fellow of SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics. This prestigious distinction recognizes Dr. Ettenberg’s significant technical achievements and contributions to the field of photonics, including advancements in shortwave infrared (SWIR) imaging technology and his dedication to fostering innovation in the optics and photonics industry.

Dr. Ettenberg’s groundbreaking work in the development of advanced SWIR imaging systems has had a profound impact across numerous applications, from defense and security to industrial inspection and scientific research. Under his leadership, PIRT has become a leading innovator in the design and manufacturing of high-performance SWIR cameras and imagers, delivering cutting-edge solutions that address critical challenges in the infrared spectrum.
