The H-500 from L3Harris Technologies is a Fused Silica Acousto-Optic Modulator that operates at a wavelength of 257 nm - 364 nm. It has a center frequency of 160 MHz and diffraction efficiency of over 50%. This AOM has a rise time of less than 22 ns and maximum RF drive power of 0.75 W per channel. It has a nominal RF input impedance of 50 Ohms and produces an optical beam of diameter 150 μm. This AOM has 8 channel ultraviolet wave modulation with a channel spacing of 360 μm and can be controlled via a standard SMA cable interface connector. It is ideal for applications such as independent modulation of an array of light beams for photolithographic printing, optical computing and signal processing.
