The iRis DVR 5 from Advanced Inspection Technologies is a Hand-Held Industrial Borescope that can record videos and capture digital images. It has a super hi-res CCD camera chip that produces superior images and color representation in dark areas. This borescope has a probe diameter of 4, 6, or 8 mm and a length of 1.5-7.5 m. It has 4-way articulation with multiple interchangeable forward/side view tip optics that enables multiple fields of view and depths of field. This borescope has a 5" TFT VGA LCD display and can be controlled via direct action keys, function keys, and arrow keys.
The iRis DVR 5 has 3.5 x zoom and adjustable image brightness, contrast, and color using dynamic camera modes (automatic, short exposure, long exposure, and manual) that provide well-balanced inspection images in large vessels and areas where additional light output is required. It has a high-intensity white light LED to illuminate dark inspection areas. This borescope requires a DC supply of 12 V via an AC adapter or a rechargeable Li-ion battery with a maximum operation time of 3 hours. It is available in an IP53 rugged PU housing that measures 180 x 105 x 45 mm and has a multi-layer tungsten braid PU jacket for the probe. This borescope is ideal for wind turbines, aerospace, and other industrial inspection applications.
