The CCD42-10 from Teledyne e2v is a 1 Megapixel Back-Illuminated CCD Image Sensor that has a resolution of 2048 (H) x 512 (V) pixels. It delivers a frame rate of 2.9 fps and has an image area of 27.6 mm x 6.9 mm. This image sensor has a spectral range of 200 nm - 1060 nm and pixel size of 13.5 µm x 13.5 µm. It has a maximum quantum efficiency of 85% and dynamic range of 33333:1. This image sensor has a charge transfer efficiency of 99.9999% (parallel) & 99.9993% (series) and dark-signal non-uniformity of 60 60e-/pixel/s.

The CCD42-10 has a readout noise of 3 e- rms (at 20 kHz), pixel readout frequency of 20 kHz, and an output amplifier sensitivity of 4.5 µV/e-. It features Advance Inverted Mode Operation (AIMO) with a symmetrical anti-static gate protection and has a zero light-emitting output amplifier. This image sensor is available in a 20-pin ceramic package that measures 32.89 mm x 20.07 mm with 3 standard anti-reflection coatings and is ideal for spectroscopy, TDI operation & scientific imaging applications.
