The FTF6080C from Teledyne DALSA is a 48 Megapixel full-frame CCD color image sensor with a pixel size of 6 µm x 6 µm. It has a variable electronic shutter and an active pixel resolution of 6000 H x 8000 V. This CCD provides a data rate of up to 25 MHz and has a high sensitivity. It has a large image format of 36 x 48 mm2 and a fill factor above 95%. This CCD uses transparent membrane poly-silicon electrodes and microlenses with a wide angular response. It has a dynamic range of 72 dB and a low dark current. Using one output amplifier, a progressively scanned image can be mirrored and split read out at 0.4 frames per second. This CCD has an RGB Bayer pattern and Chroma. . It is available in a chip package and is ideal for Professional Digital Photography applications.
