The TCD2712DG from Toshiba Corporation is a CCD Linear Image Sensor that has a pixel size of 9.325 (H) µm x 9.325 (V) µm. It has 7500 x 3 lines image-sensing elements and a spectral resolution of 24 lines/mm. This CCD image sensor has a sensitivity of 14.1 V/lx.s (Red), 22.2 V/lx.s (Green), and 9.1 V/lx.s (Blue). It has a total transfer efficiency of 98% and an output impedance of 0.2 kOhms. This color CCD image sensor has a photo response non-uniformity (PRNU) of 10% and dark signal non-uniformity (DSNU) of 5 mV.

The TCD2712DG has a random noise of 1 mV and dark signal voltage of 1 mV. It has a saturation exposure of 0.09 lx.s and saturation output voltage of 2 V. This CCD image sensor has a PN photodiode, internal clamp circuit, and red, green & blue color filters. It requires a DC supply voltage of 10 V and dissipates 1200 mW of power. This CCD image sensor is available in a 68-pin CERDIP package that measures 105 (L) mm x 10.6 (W) mm x 8.4 (H) mm and is ideal for color scanners & photocopier applications.
