The NanEye from ams AG is a Miniature Rolling Shutter CMOS Image Sensor that has a frame rate of 43 to 62 fps designed for the toughest confined space requirements. It is available in a 1/16-inch optical format that delivers monochrome and RGB images with an effective pixel array of 249 H x 250 V. This image sensor has 3 µm x 3 µm high sensitive pixels with 62k pixel resolution (125k for the stereo module). It uses an LVDS 1x 38Mbps interface for output and is possible to drive a signal through an endoscope of up to 3m with this miniature sensor. It is available in 2x2 SGA or module with cable and is ideal for applications such as Endoscopy, Intraoral Scanning, Industrial endoscopy, Robotics, IoT (Internet of Things), Eye tracking, Virtual / Augmented reality, Gesture recognition, etc.
