The ADSD3100 from Analog Devices is a 1 MP CMOS Image Sensor with an active pixel array size of 1024 (H) x 1024 (V). This 2D/3D Time of Flight (ToF) based image sensor has a pixel size of 3.5 μm x 3.5 μm and supports 1/3.6 inch optical format. It consists of an analog to digital converter (ADC), pixel biasing circuitry, sensor control logic circuit, and an optical bandpass filter. This image sensor can be controlled via 4-wire SPI, 2-wire I2C serial, and MIPI CSI-2 transmitter interfaces that support 1,2, and 4 data lanes. It requires a dual DC supply of 1.27 and 3.3 V and can be programmable up to 1.5 Gbps per lane. The image sensor is available as a die that measures 5.364 x 9.799 mm and is ideal for smartphones, AR/VR, machine vision systems, and robotics applications.
