The 120MXS from Canon U.S.A. are 122 Megapixel CMOS Image Sensors that have a resolution of 13272 (H) x 9176 (V) pixels. They have a rolling shutter that deliver a maximum frame rate of 9.4 fps (all pixels). These image sensors have a pixel size of 2.2 µm x 2.2 µm and dark random noise of 2.3 e-rms (at 8 dB). They have three filter types: RGB, RGB-NIR & monochrome filters that have a sensitivity of 10000 e/lx/sec (RGB & RGB-NIR) and 20000 e/lx/sec (monochrome).

The 120MXS have 28 digital output channels and are available in a compact package that measures 29.22 mm x 20.22 mm. They are ideal for 3D metrology, aeronautic imaging, digital archiving, document scanning, flat panel display inspection, Intelligent traffic systems (ITS), large area surveillance, machine vision, mapping, medical imaging, packaging & inspection, reconnaissance, scientific research and security applications.
