The Lince5M from Teledyne e2v is a 5.2 Megapixel CMOS Image Sensor that has a resolution of 2560 (H) x 2048 (V) pixels. It has an electronic global shutter in a 1" optical format that delivers a frame rate of up to 250 fps. This image sensor has an active pixel size of 5 μm x 5 μm and image size of 12.8 mm x 10.24 mm. It has a dynamic range of 58 dB and sensitivity of 13,400 DN 12-bit/(lux sec). This image sensor has a maximum SNR of 42 dB and quantum efficiency of 63%. It has a photo response non-uniformity (PRNU) of 0.5% and dark signal non-uniformity (DSNU) of 50 e-/sec (10 DN 12-bit/sec). This image sensor is available in monochrome, RGB Bayer, and NIR-enhanced versions.
The Lince5M operates in two sensing modes: linear and HDR. It has pixel binning, line windowing, sub-sampling options, and selectable active LVDS ports for data output. This image sensor has a 5T active pixel pitch with a pinned photodiode and also features FPN & defective pixel correction. It requires a dual DC supply voltage of 3.3/1.8 V and consumes a maximum power of 2 W. This image sensor is available in 181-pin micro PGA ceramic & 84-pin CLCC packages and is ideal for high-speed, high-resolution machine vision, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), generic inspection, high-speed video broadcasting, low noise high dynamic range, biometric, and medical imaging applications.
