The GLUX1605BSI from Gpixel Inc. is a 0.5 Megapixel CMOS Image Sensor that has a resolution of 800 (H) × 600 (V) pixels. It has a rolling shutter in a 1" optical format that delivers a frame rate of 60 fps (HDR) and 25 fps (low noise). This backside illuminated (BSI) CMOS image sensor has a pixel size of 16 μm x 16 μm and data rate of 445.5Mbps per lane (HDR) & 222.75 Mbps per lane (low noise). It has a dynamic range of 93 dB (HDR) and quantum efficiency of 90% (at 560 nm). This CMOS image sensor has a photosensitive area of 12.8 mm × 9.6 mm and maximum full well capacity of 73 ke-.

The GLUX1605BSI has 4 types of data output channels: 4 pairs of sub-LVDS channels & MIPI (CSI-2, D-PHY) and 1 pair of sub-LVDS channels & MIPI (CSI-2, D-PHY). It produces mono output, has a dark noise of 1.6 e- (HDR) & 1.6 e- (low noise), and pixel clock rate of 37.125 MHz. This CMOS image sensor requires a DC supply voltage of 1.75 V (digital) & 3.3 V (analog) and consumes 250 mW (HDR mode with MIPI), 80 mW (low moise with sub-LVDS) & 120 mW (low noise with MIPI) of power. It is available in an 84-pin CLCC package that measures 22 mm x 15.93 mm and is ideal for scientific imaging & UV industrial inspection applications.
