The GMAX32103 from Gpixel Inc. is an Ultra-High-Resolution CMOS Image Sensor. It utilizes a 3.2 μm pixel to deliver 103 MP (11,276 x 9,200) resolution and a dynamic range of more than 65 dB at 28 fps in 12-bit mode. With this combination of resolution, dynamic range, and speed, the sensor is an ideal solution for flat panel inspection, PCB inspection, and aerial mapping. Using an advanced 65 nm CIS process and light pipe technology, the sensor achieves over 65% quantum efficiency and more than 1/15,000 shutter efficiency.
Channel multiplexing of the 52 pairs of sub-LVDS channels allows for optimization between speed and dynamic range to suit the application. The sensor is available in both monochrome and Bayer versions to support use in a variety of applications including machine vision, QA inspection, surveillance, biometrics, document imaging, and flat panel inspection. It requires a supply voltage of 3.3/1.8/1.2 V and consumes 2.5 W of power.
