The GSENSE400 from Gpixel is a 4 Megapixel CMOS image sensor with 11µm patented pinned photodiode pixels. The sensor operates in electronic rolling shutter and has extremely low readout noise of 1.47e-. The peak quantum efficiency of the sensor could reach 58% without using ulens. It has two operation modes, STD mode in 48 frames per second or HDR mode which is optimized for high dynamic range applications with 24 frames per second. And in HDR mode, the sensor dynamic range is more than 96 dB. The sensor has high sensitivity and consumes less than 600 mW of power. It is available in a 115 pins PGA ceramic package and is ideal for Scientific Applications.
