The LUX13HS from LUXIMA Technology is a 1 Megapixel CMOS Image Sensor that has a resolution of 1280 (H) x 864 (V) pixels. It has a global shutter in a 4/3" optical format that delivers a frame rate of 3500 fps (at 1280 x 864 pixels) and 9000 fps (at 1280 x 384 pixels). This CMOS image sensor has a pixel pitch of 13.7 μm, full well charge of 20,000 e-, and read noise of 14 e-. It has a quantum efficiency of 30% and responsivity of 25 V/lux-sec at 550 nm.
The LUX13HS has a photo response non-uniformity (PRNU) of 1.5 % RMS and shutter efficiency of 99.9%. It has a windowing in quanta of 4 rows (Y) & 1184 columns (X) and 10-bit ADC converter. This image sensor has a clock rate of 133 MHz and the output can be taken out from 80 Low-Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) ports (at 540 MHz for 10-bit output), 64 LVDS ports (at 8-bit output) & 40 LVDS ports (Multiplex Mode).
The LUX13HS requires a DC supply voltage of 3.3 V (Analog) & 1.8 V (Digital) and consumes 2.5 W of power. This CMOS digital sensor supports RGB or monochrome color filters. It is available in 361 ceramic μPGA (36 mm) or 345 ceramic μPGA (30 mm) packages and is ideal for high-speed machine vision, 3D scanning, motion analysis, and industrial market applications.
