The OS02H10 from OmniVision Technologies is a 2.9 Micron Color CMOS Digital Image Sensor with a pixel size of 2.9 x 2.9 µm. It is built on OmniVision’s PureCelPlus architecture and supports an image resolution of up to 1920 x 1080. The image sensor offers multiple HDR options for the highest quality 4 MP still and video captures of fast-moving objects at 60 frames per second. It integrates NIR Nyxel technology with PureCelPlus technology that makes it suitable to work equally well in ultra-low light and good lighting conditions. The image sensor requires a DC supply of 1.8 V and supports the standard serial SCCB, MIPI, and LVDS interfaces.
The OS02H10 provides a high-value option for adding premium NIR, ultra low light, and HDR modes to mainstream security systems with AI functionality. It can detect incident light in both the visible and NIR wavelengths while producing precise color and monochrome images for security applications. The laser provides exceptional quantum efficiency (QE), enabling the sensor to see better and farther at both the 850 nm and 940 nm NIR wavelengths. The sensor can capture crisp and clear images using undetectable 940 nm NIR light and consumes 98.9% less power than the normal mode for longer battery life. It is ideal for security surveillance systems, HD analog cameras, and IP camera applications.
