The OS02H10 from OmniVision Technologies is a 2 Megapixel Color CMOS Digital Image Sensor that has a resolution of 1920 (H) x 1080 (V). It has a rolling shutter in a 1/2.8" optical format that delivers a frame rate of 60 fps. This image sensor also supports other image sizes like 960 x 540 px & 480 x 270 px and has a pixel size of 2.9 µm x 2.9 µm with an image area of 5587.34 μm x 3153.02 μm & lens chief ray angle of 9° (linear). It is based on OmniVision" PureCelPlus architecture and integrates NIR Nyxel technology with PureCelPlus technology which makes it suitable to work equally well in ultra-low light and good lighting conditions. This image sensor requires a DC supply of 1.2 - 2.8 V and consumes a maximum power of 110 mW. It uses MIPI 1/2-lane or LVDS interfaces (for output) and supports RAW10/RAW12 RGB output formats.
The OS02H10 provides high-value option for adding premium NIR, ultra-low light, and HDR modes to mainstream security systems with AI functionality. It can detect incident light in both the visible and NIR wavelengths while producing precise color and monochrome images for security applications. This image sensor provides exceptional quantum efficiency (QE), enabling the sensor to see better and farther at both the 850 nm and 940 nm NIR wavelengths. It supports vertical 1x2 color binning & horizontal 1x2 color binning functions and has a multi-camera synchronous function. This image sensor can capture crisp and clear images using undetectable 940 nm NIR light and has an ultra-low power mode that consumes 98.9% less power than the normal mode for longer battery life. It is ideal for security surveillance systems, HD analog cameras, and IP camera applications.
