The OVB0B from OmniVision Technologies is a 200 Megapixel CMOS Image Sensor that is designed for high-end smartphone cameras. It has an on-chip remoisac that delivers a frame rate of 24 fps at 50 MP, 30 fps in 8k video recording and a 12.5 MP output at 30 fps with 3-exposure staggered HDR timing. This image sensor requires a DC supply of 1.1 V (core), 2.8 V (analog) & 1.8/1.2 V (I/O) and consumes up to 1250 mW of power. It can be controlled via a 4-lane D-PHY MIPI TX interface with up to 3.0 Gbps per lane, 2/3 trio C-PHY interface with up to 3.0 Gsps/trio or a standard serial SCCB interface.
The OVB0B image sensor supports 4-cell binning, 4-cell full, 16-cell full and features 16-cell binning capability for 4K2K video with 16 times the sensitivity in low light environments. It features 100% quad phase detection (QPD) technology for exceptional fast autofocus performance and has a lens chief ray angle of 37.24° (non-linear). This image sensor has an on-chip 4-cell to Bayer converter, three on-chip phase lock loops (PLLs) and a built-in temperature sensor. It supports horizontal & vertical subsampling, automatic black level calibration (ABLC), dynamic DPC and programmable I/O drive capability. This image sensor is ideal for mobile wide cameras, ultra-wide cameras and video conferencing applications.
