The OX03F10 from OmniVision Technologies is a 3 Megapixel Color Digital CMOS Image Sensor that has a resolution of 1920 (H) x 1536 (V) pixels. It has a rolling shutter in a 1/2.44" optical format that delivers a frame rate of 60 fps. This image sensor has a pixel size of 3 µm x 3 µm with an image area of 5808 µm x 4656 µm and lens chief ray angle of 21.8°. It is integrated with OMNIVISION's HALE (HDR and LFM engine) combination algorithm, which remains the only imaging technology that can simultaneously provide top HDR and LFM performance. This image sensor is based on OmniVision's PureCel®Plus-S architecture and Deep WellTM (dual conversion gain) technology, which makes it suitable to capture significantly lower motion artifacts. It requires a DC supply of 1.1 V (digital), 2.9 V (analog) & 1.8 V (I/O pads) and consumes a power of 430 mW (1920 x 1536) & 390 mW (1920 x 1080).
The OX03F10 expands OMNIVISION's next-generation ASIL-C viewing camera family with higher 3MP resolution and cybersecurity features. It supports LED flicker mitigation (LFM) and motion-free HDR (3 capture). This image sensor provides defect pixel correction and lens correction. It has an embedded temperature sensor and supply voltage monitor. This image sensor features external frame synchronization capability and one-time programmable memory. It uses a MIPI CSI-2 4-lane interface (for output) and supports 20/16/14/12-bit (PWL) combined HDR (4 captures) & Uncompressed 24-bit output formats. This image sensor is available in an 84-pin a-BGA package and is ideal for automotive applications such as surround view systems, rearview cameras, autonomous driving, and E-Mirror.
