The OX03F10 from OmniVision Technologies is a 3 MegaPixel Color CMOS High Definition Image Sensor with a pixel size of 3 x 3 µm. It is built on OmniVision’s PureCelPlus architecture and supports an image resolution of up to 1920 x 1536 at 60 frames per second. The image sensor is integrated with a HALE combination algorithm that can simultaneously provide top HDR and LFM performance. It requires a DC supply of 1.8 V and supports a 4-lane MIPI CSI-2 interface.
This image sensor retains basic image processing capabilities such as lens shading correction, defective pixel cancellation, HDR combination, automatic black level correction, and PWL compression. It is based on OmniVision’s Deep Well, dual conversion gain technology that enables it to capture significantly lower motion artifacts than the few competing sensors that offer 140 dB HDR. This image sensor is incorporated with OmniVision’s split-pixel LFM technology with four captures that offers the best performance over the entire automotive temperature range. It is ideal for surround view systems (SVS), rearview cameras, autonomous driving, and E-mirror applications.
