The MT9V115 from onsemi is a 0.3 Megapixel CMOS Image Sensor that has a resolution of 648(H) x 488(V). It has an electronic rolling shutter in a 1/13-inch optical format that delivers a frame rate of 30 fps (at full resolution). This image sensor has a pixel size of 1.75 µm x 1.75 µm with an on-chip 8-bit/10-bit ADC. It has a dynamic range of 64 dB and a maximum signal-to-noise ratio of 34.1 dB. This image sensor can be controlled via a two-wire serial bus interface and uses parallel (8-bit ADC) or MIPI (8-bit,10-bit ADC) interface for output. It has sophisticated on-chip camera functions such as auto exposure control, auto white balance, black level control, flicker detection and avoidance, and defect correction and is programmable through a simple two-wire serial interface.
The MT9V115 has an integrated Image Flow Processor (IFP) for single-die camera module and supports automatic image correction and enhancement, including four-channel lens shading. This image sensor supports ITU.R.656 format and can produce RGB Bayer output. It uses YCbCr, 565RGB, Processed Bayer, RAW8− and RAW8+2-bit, BT656 output data formats and has an internal master clock generated by On-chip phase Locked Loop (PLL) Oscillator with an input clock range of 4 Hz - 44 Hz. This image sensor requires a DC supply of 1.8 V (digital), 2.8 V (analog or MIPI) and consumes 55 mW of power. It is available in wafer, chip-scale package and is ideal for mobile phones, PC, notebook cameras and gaming systems.
