The GENX320 from Prophesee is a 0.1 Megapixel CMOS Image Sensor that has a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels. It is shutter-free in a 1/5&rdquo optical formal that delivers a frame rate above 10k fps. This back-side illuminated CMOS image sensor has a pixel size of 6.3 μm x 6.3 μm and dynamic range of greater than 120 dB. It has a pixel latency of up to 150 &mus and nominal contrast threshold of 25%. This image sensor has a low-light cut off of 0.05 lux and row-level precision time stamping of 1 μs.
The GENX320 features anti-flicker filtering (AFK) and has an event-rate controller (ERC) & a spatio-temporal contrast filter (STC). It can be controlled via 1-lane MIPI D-Phy & configurable 8-bit parallel output interfaces and I2C & Four-wire serial peripheral interfaces. This image sensor consumes 3 mW of power and is available in an ultra-compact package that measures 3 mm x 4 mm. It is ideal for AR/VR/XR, eye tracking, gesture recognition, IoT, AI on the edge & machine learning, always-on cameras, healthcare (privacy) cameras, wearables, and smart home applications.
