The HDPYX 230-G from Pyxalis is a 2.3 Megapixel CMOS Image Sensor that has a resolution of 1944 (H) x 1204 (V). It has a global shutter in a 1/2.5" optical format that delivers a frame rate of up to 60 fps. This image sensor has a pixel pitch of 3.2 µm x 3.2 µm and an aspect ratio of 16:10. It has a linear dynamic range of up to 98 dB and dark current of 15 e-/s. This image sensor has a noise of 2.3 e- and maximum signal-to-noise ratio of 41.6 dB. It has a full well saturation capacity of 2 x 8.5 ke- and quantum efficiency of 69% (at 550 nm) & 19% (at 850 nm). This image sensor has two 11-bit ADC, 8/10/12/14/16-bit output formats, and 8 regions of interest (ROI).
The HDPYX 230-G features built-in pixel high-dynamic technology and has linear & compressed modes, master & slave modes, mirror & flip, subsampling & binning up to x4. It can be operated via MIPI CSI-2 output and has 12-bit parallel outputs & serial communication interface. This image sensor is available with monochrome, RGB+NIR, or Bayer color filters and has integrated temperature sensors. It is available in an automotive-qualified IM2BG4 plastic package (BGA or bare die available) and is ideal for automotive, security & surveillance markets, agriculture, environment, medical, robotics & HDR machine vision applications.
