The SC1600CS from SmartSens Technology is a CMOS Image Sensor that has a resolution of 16 Megapixels (4656 x 3096 pixels). It has a rolling shutter in a 1/3.06” optical format that provides a maximum framerate of 60 fps at 2328 x 1748 resolution. This image sensor has an SNR of up to 38.5 dB with a dynamic range of up to 73 dB and a sensitivity of up to 2357 mV/Lux·s. It requires a DC supply of 2.8 V (analog), 1.2 V (digital) and 1.8 V (I/O). This image sensor can be controlled via a 10/8 bit 1/2/4 Lane MIPI interface.
The SC1600CS is based on PDAF technology that reduces read noise & FPN and improves dynamic range & SNR. It has QCell technology and supports QC Bin mode that improves sensitivity and SNR with low noise and better color expression. This image sensor is available in a 44 pin CSP, RW or COB package that measures 5.246 x 4.457 mm (COB) and 5.296 x 4.507 mm (RW). It is ideal for smartphone front cameras, home IPC and video conference cameras.
