The IMX492LQJ from Sony Corporation is a 47.08 MegaPixel CMOS image sensor with a monochrome square pixel array. This diagonal image sensor has a 12-bit digital output which is ideal for high definition moving pictures. It also operates with three power supply voltages: analog-2.9V, digital-1.2V, and 1.8V for the I/O. This Image Sensor offers high-sensitivity, low dark current, no smear, and has excellent anti-blooming characteristics. It features both vertical and horizontal arbitrary cropping functions,  variable speed shutter functions, and has a rolling shutter read-out with an aspect ratio of 17:9 and 4:3 respectively. This image sensor is integrated with a CDS/PGA chip which has a gain of 27 dB (step pitch of 0.1 dB) and supports 10/12-bit A/D conversion. The chip has serial communication circuits, H driver, V driver, and supports monochrome R, G, B primary color mosaic filters. It is available in a 248-pin high precision ceramic package and is ideal for Surveillance, FA Cameras, and Industrial cameras applications.
