The IMX535 from Sony Semiconductor Solutions is a Monochrome/Color CMOS Image Sensor that has a resolution of 12.41 Megapixels. It has a global shutter in a 1/1.1” optical format and a 12/10/8 bit ADC that provides a frame rate of 184.6 fps (8 bit), 183.9 fps (10 bit) and 120.9 fps (12 bit). This image sensor provides an analog gain of 0 to 48 dB and a digital gain of 0.1 to 24 dB. It can be controlled via a 4/8 channel SLVS interface that delivers a data rate of 594/297/891/455.5 Mbps per channel or a 1/2/4/8 lane SLVS-EC interface that delivers a data rate of 4.752/2.376/1.188 Gbps per lane.
The IMX535 has a built-in timing adjustment circuit, H/V driver and serial communication circuit. It uses Pregius S technology that enables the capture of high quality, undistorted images at high speeds. This image sensor supports 2x2 FD binning, ROI mode, vertical/ horizontal 1/2 subsampling readout modes and has a variable speed shutter function.
The IMX535 requires a DC supply of 3.3 V (analog), 2.9 V (digital), 1.1 V (interface) and 1.8 V (quadruple). It is available in a 230 pin LGA package that measures 20 x 16.8 mm and is ideal for FA and ITS cameras used in factory automation, industrial imaging traffic monitoring and infrastructure inspection.
