The 9225/26 from viimagic GmbH is a 2.1 Megapixel CMOS Image Sensor that has a resolution of 1920 (H) x 1080 (V). It has a global/rolling shutter in a 2/3” optical format that delivers a frame rate of up to 120 fps (DDS) and up to 240 fps (CDS). This high-definition image sensor has a pixel size of 5 µm x 5 µm and a sensitivity of 6 V/Lux·s (at 560nm). It has an active image area of 10.34 x 5.50 mm, video SNR of 57 dB with a dynamic range of over 60 dB (linear mode) and 120 dB (high dynamic mode). This image sensor has a random noise of up to 6e in the dark area and a full well capacity of 16ke. It has a quantum efficiency of 55 % and has monochrome & RGB Bayer color filter arrays. This image sensor has up to 4 x 4 LVDS video outputs with quadruple on-chip 12-bit ADC resolution.

The 9225/26 is capable of capturing still or motion images. It has integrated ADCs, programmable sensor control & timing functions that offer high flexibility and microlens for improved sensitivity. This image sensor has high-speed analog double sampling and better-performing correlated digital double sampling readout modes. It requires a DC supply of 3.3 V for core interfaces & 1.8 V for digital logic and consumes 1.1 W of power. It is available in a µPGA-185 ceramic package that measures 25 x 23 mm and is ideal for high-performance video cameras, high-resolution measurement devices, high-end surveillance, industrial vision, medical imaging, and automotive applications.
