The Rof-AM from Beijing Rofea Optoelectronics is a Lithium Niobate (LiNbO3) Electro-Optic Intensity Modulator that operates at a wavelength of 1060 nm. It has a bandwidth of 300 MHz and an RF half-wave voltage of 3 V. This electro-optic intensity modulator has a switch extinction ratio of 23 dB and dynamic extinction ratio of 13 dB. It has an optical insertion loss of 4 dB and optical return loss of -45 dB. This electro-optic intensity modulator has an RF input impedance of 50 Ohms & a bias input impedance of 1 MOhms.
The Rof-AM features advanced proton exchange technology and has a pulse light generator & analog transmission link. It has a PM fiber 980 nm optical fiber and supports FC/PC/APC (optical fiber) & SMA (electrical) connectors. This electro-optic intensity modulator requires a bias voltage from -20 V to 20 V and consumes an input optical power of 20 dBm & RF power of 28 dBm. It is available in a package that measures 111 mm x 12.5 mm x 9 mm and is ideal for fiber optic sensing system and pulsed light modulation system applications.
