The PM705 from Jenoptik is a Waveguide-Based Fiber-Coupled Electro-Optic Phase Modulator that operates at a wavelength of 705 nm. It has a spectral bandwidth of ± 20 nm and half-wave voltage of 5 V. This electro-optic phase modulator has an insertion loss of 5 dB and optical rise time above 200 ps. It uses polarization maintaining single mode or multimode fibers that supports FC/PC or FC/APC connectors and works based on MgO:LiNbO3 & LiNbO3 crystals. This electro-optic phase modulator consumes a power of up to 20 mW and is available in a compact module that measures 96 (L) mm x 19 (W) mm x 10 (H) mm. It is ideal for analog & digital modulation, sideband generation, interferometric metrology, and optical coherence tomography (OCT) applications.
