The FH-OT-8601B from Furukawa Electric is a Distributed Feedback Laser Diode (DFB-LD) Fiber Optic Transmitter that operates at a wavelength of 1550 nm - 1560 nm. It delivers an output power of 8.5 dBm and has a wavelength adjustment range of ± 100 GHz. This fiber optic transmitter has a return loss of 40 dB & 15 dB (RF) and frequency range of 70 MHz - 770 MHz with a frequency flatness of 1.5 dB. It has an impedance of 75 Ohms and RF input level of 80 dBµV. This fiber optic transmitter has a monitor level of -20 dB ± 1 dB and AGC from -3dB to 6dB.

The FH-OT-8601B has NTSC 74 channels, F type connector and can be manageable through Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). It has a SBS suppression of +13 dBm - +19 dBm and maximum relative intensity noise (RIN) of -158 dB/Hz. This fiber optic transmitter supports SC-APC or E2000 connectors and an SMF fiber. This fiber optic transmitter is available in a package that measures 483 (W) mm x 49 (H) mm x 464 (D) mm and is ideal for electrical to optical conversion of multichannel CATV signals like AM-VSB, FM and QAM signals applications.
