The AV-1010-B from Avtech Electrosystems Ltd is a Laser Diode Driver that operates in Pulsed / QCW modes. It has an amplitude up to 100 Volts with a pulse width of 20 ns - 10 ms. This laser diode driver has a rise time and a fall time of up to 10 ns. It has a pulse repetition frequency of 1Hz - 1 MHz, a maximum duty cycle of 50%, and an output impedance of 2 Ω or 50 Ω. This laser diode driver can be controlled via RS232 and GPIB interfaces.

The AV-1010-B can serve as a replacement for high-voltage pulse generators and provide an improved pulse width range. It requires an AC supply of 100 - 240 V and consumes 2, 4, or 8A of current. This laser diode driver is available in a 19” rack-mountable module that measures 100 x 430 x 375 mm and is ideal for pulse/delay generator applications.
