The AV-1011B1-B from Avtech Electrosystems Ltd is a Laser Diode Driver that delivers an output voltage of up to 100 V and an output current of up to 8 A. It has a pulse width of 100 ns - 1 ms and a rise time of up to 2 ns & a fall time of up to 8 ns. This laser diode driver has a pulse repetition frequency of 1 Hz - 100 kHz and a maximum duty cycle of 5%. It can be controlled manually via IEEE-488.2 GPIB and RS-232 interfaces and remotely via an Ethernet interface.

The AV-1011B1-B has a delay feature that can advance or delay up to 1 second relative to the SYNC output (the delay must be less than 75% of the period). It has a Double Pulse mode where the delay setting controls the separation between the double pulses with a minimum pulse separation of 1 µs. This laser diode driver requires an AC supply of 100 - 240 V. It is available in a package that measures 100 x 430 x 375 mm and has BNC female connectors.
