The AV-1011B3-B from Avtech Electrosystems Ltd is a Laser Diode Driver that delivers an output voltage of up to 30 V. It operates in quasi-continuous wave (QCW) mode with a pulse width of 100 ns - 10 ms and a variable delay of ± 1 s. This laser diode driver has a rise time of up to 0.5 ns and a fall time of up to 0.5 ns for less than 100 μs pulse width & up to 5 ns for over 100 μs pulse width. It has a pulse repetition frequency of 1Hz - 100 kHz and a maximum duty cycle of 5%. This laser diode driver can be controlled via RS232 and GPIB interfaces and has an Ethernet port for remote control using VXI-11.3, ssh, telnet & web protocols.

The AV-1011B3-B features switchable output polarity, output protection against short circuits, open circuits, & high duty cycles, and LabView drivers. It has TTL, synchronous/asynchronous, active high or low, & switchable gated operation modes and has trigger modes activated by an internal trigger, external trigger, front-panel ‘single pulse’ pushbutton, or a single pulse trigger via computer command. This laser diode driver has SMA female & BNC female connectors and requires an AC supply of 100 - 240 V. It is available in a module that measures 100 x 430 x 375 mm and has an optional 19” rack-mount kit.
