The ED2P-AXA (300 A) from Cutting Edge Optronics is a Laser Diode Driver that operates in CW / QCW modes. It delivers an output current of up to 300 A with a pulse rate of 0 - 50 kHz and a pulse width of 10 μs to 100 ms. This laser diode driver has a noise of up to 50 mA p-p and a transition time of 5 - 40 μs. It has a compliance voltage range of 0 - 350 V, an open circuit voltage of 5V, and a short circuit current of 1 mA. This laser diode driver can be controlled via RS232 and RS485 interfaces.

The ED2P-AXA (300 A) can perform laser system functions such as shutter control, system interlocks & Q-switching and provides ultimate control with limited features for current and duty cycle which allows it to protect the laser diode arrays. It requires an AC supply of 100 - 240 V and consumes 4A of current. This laser diode driver is available in a 19” rack-mountable module that measures 481.8 x 384.2 x 88.5 mm and is ideal for DPSSL pumping and laser diode control applications.
