The LDD-100-XX-YY from Lumina Power Inc. is a Laser Diode Driver that produces an output current of up to 50 A. It delivers an output power of up to 100 W with a power factor above 0.98. This continuous wave laser diode driver has a rise/fall time of 10 ms and current regulation of up to 0.5%. It has a current ripple of less than 0.5% and a current overshoot of up to 1%. This laser diode driver is virtually wire-free with a low-loss Zero Voltage Switching inverter and incorporates planar magnetics. It does not require additional line filters to meet EN 55011 emission requirements. This laser diode driver requires an AC supply of 100 - 240 V and is available in a compact module that measures 19 x 14.7 x 6.6 cm.  It can be controlled by analog or RS232 interface with a 15 Pin "D" Sub Female connector and is ideal for OEM applications.
