The LDD605 from MOGLABS is a Laser Diode Driver that produces an output current of up to 8 A and a maximum compliance voltage of 5 V (at 6 A). This continuous wave laser diode driver has a bandwidth of 1 kHz and stability of ±10 mK/°C. It has a temperature controller and a 60 W TEC driver. This laser diode driver has a digital PID temperature servo along with a piezo driver that operates at a voltage of up to 150 V. It requires an input AC voltage of 100/110/120 V or 220/240 V and can be controlled via USB 2.0 (USB-A), RJ45 ethernet interfaces.

The LDD605 has ergonomic controls, an LCD display, and a photodetector input for laser power monitoring. This laser diode driver is available in a package that measures 250 x 79 x 292 mm and is ideal for laser cooling and trapping, Bose-Einstein condensation, quantum optics: pump-probe, electromagnetic transparency and slow light, time and frequency standards, laser spectroscopy, and physics teaching labs applications.
