The LDP-AV 40-70 from PicoLAS GmbH is a Laser Diode Driver Module that delivers an output current of 8 A - 40 A. It has an integrated high-voltage DC source with an output voltage of 15 V  - 70 V. This pulsed laser diode driver has a fixed pulse duration of 5 ns and maximum pulse repetition rate of 100 kHz. It has a rise time of up to 5 ns and maximum duty factor of 0.1 %. This LDD has a trigger delay of 36 ns and trigger range from single shot to 100 kHz. It requires a trigger input of 5 V, DC supply voltage of 15 V, and consumes 0.2 A of current. This LDD has a maximum power dissipation of 2 W and is available in a compact OEM module that measures 32 x 15 x 8 mm. It is ideal for LiDAR, measurements, ignition, rangefinding, and biochemistry applications.
