The UMBs-1430-1470 from Coherent is an InP-based Unmounted Diode Laser Bar that operates from 1430 to 14070 nm. It provides 35 W of power and has an efficiency of more than 30%. This TE polarized laser diode bar has a spectral width of less than 20 nm (FWHM). It consists of 19 emitters that have a width of 100 μm and pitch of 500 μm each. The laser bar requires a DC supply of 1.2 V and consumes less than 90 A of current. It is fabricated with Coherent’s InP epitaxy layer and is ideal for medical, aesthetics, illumination, and material processing applications.
