The DFB-1064-040-BFY from Idealphotonics Inc is a GaAsP/AlGaAs Distributed Feedback Laser Diode that operates at a center wavelength of 1064 nm. It delivers a maximum output power of 40 mW and has a slope efficiency of 0.4 mW/mA. This TE (transverse electric) polarized laser diode has a spectral width of 2 MHz, laser current coefficient of 0.003 nm/mA, and mod-hop free tunability of 40 mW. It requires a maximum threshold current of 70 mA and consumes 200 mA of current. This laser diode has an integrated photodiode and a Peltier cooler. It has a single-mode polarization maintaining optical fiber that supports FC/APC connectors. This laser diode is available in a 14-pin butterfly package and is ideal for Nd:YAG seeding and fiber amplifier seeding applications.
