The LDS-1570-DFB-2.5G-15/45 from LasersCom is a Multi-Quantum Well Laser Diode coupled to an optical fiber that operates at a wavelength of 1570 nm with a slope efficiency of  0.16 W/A. It delivers an optical output power of up to 15 mW in CW mode and up to 45 mW in pulse mode in SM fiber G.657.A1. This laser diode requires an operating voltage of about 1.4 V and has a threshold current of around 8 mA. It is available in a coaxial, coaxial with bracket, or 14 pins DIL including a monitor PD in a hermetically sealed case and is ideal for Optical fiber communication systems with data rate up to 2.5 Gbps.
