The ARR97C020 from Northrop Grumman is a Conductively-cooled Laser Diode Array with a center wavelength of 808 nm (790-1550 nm options also available). It provides a CW output power of 20 W and has electrical-optical efficiency of 47%. The laser diode array has a spectral width of 1.8 nm. It requires an operating voltage of 1.7 V and has a threshold current of 8 A. The laser diode array is available in a directly bonded cutting edge optronics C package that measures 24.89 x 24.89 x 11.18 mm. The package is based on Northrop Grumman’s Golden Bullet technology that enables the use of multiple bars per package. The ARR97C020 is mountable into a laser system or can be used for direct diode applications.
