The QDFBLD-1550-50 from QPhotonics is a Fiber-Coupled Distributed Feedback Laser Diode that operates at a center wavelength of 1550.1 nm. It delivers an output power of 45 mW and has a spectral width of up to 0.01 nm. This wavelength-stabilized single-mode laser diode has a wavelength temperature tunability of 0.1 nm/oC, maximum relative intensity noise of -140 dB/Hz, and an optical isolation above 22 dB. It has a minimum sidemode suppression ratio of 35 dB, polarization extinction ratio of 20 dB, and numerical aperture of 0.13.

The QDFBLD-1550-50 laser diode has a maximum rise time (in pulse mode) of 0.5 ns, PD reverse voltage of up to 20 V, and monitor current of 0.32 mA. It has a forward voltage of 2 V, forward current of 630 mA, and thermistor resistance of 10 kOhms. This laser diode requires a threshold current of 20 mA, DC supply voltage of 1.6 V, and consumes 263 mA of current. It has a built-in optical isolator, monitor photodiode, thermoelectric cooler, and thermistor. This polarization-maintaining fiber pigtailed laser diode has optional FC/PC or FC/APC connectors and is available in a 14-pin butterfly package.
