The QLD1161-8030 from QD Laser is a Distributed Feedback (DFB) Laser diode that operates at a wavelength of 1180 nm. It delivers an optical output power of 30 mW and requires a DC supply of 1.7 V. This laser diode has an optical isolator, a monitor PD, and an inbuilt thermo-electric cooler (TEC). It requires a threshold current of 30 mA and consumes 150 mA of current. This laser diode is available in a fiber-pigtailed 14-pin butterfly package that measures 34 x 20 x 7.4 mm and has 900/250 μm diameter fiber with FC/APC or Ferrule connector. It is ideal as a seed source for SHG and for scientific, industrial, and sensing applications.
