The QLF1339-AA from QD Laser is a Quantum Dot Fabry-Perot Laser that operates at a wavelength of 1310 nm. It delivers a saturated output power of 6 mW and has a beam angle of 1.1 degrees. The laser has a forward current of 80 mA and a reverse voltage of 2 V. It has a spectral width of 4 nm and a rise/fall time of 0.05 nsec. The laser diode requires a DC supply of 1.4 V and has a threshold current of up to 12 mA. It is based on quantum dot technology and offers excellent stability at high temperatures, and has an excellent optical feedback tolerance that makes it ideal a light source for silicon photonics. The laser diode is available in a 5.6 mm TO-CAN package and is suitable for optical communication applications.
