The QD-Q1401-A1 from Quantel laser by LUMIBIRD is a Quasi Continuous Wave (QCW) Linear Bar Array Laser Diode that operates at a wavelength of 790 nm - 980 nm. It delivers an output power of 100 W and has a spectral width of up to 3 nm (at FWHM). This TE or TM polarised laser diode has a beam divergence of 36 degrees & 8 degrees (at FWHM) and total efficiency of 58% (at 808 nm) & 65% (at 940/980 nm). It requires a threshold current of 18 A, DC supply voltage of 1.8 V/bar, and consumes 95 A of current.

The QD-Q1401-A1 has an optional Fast Axis Collimator (FAC) lens and is available in a compact & rugged A1 package that measures 51 mm x 10.6 mm. This conduction-cooled laser diode is ideal for ablation, engraving, flat panel display, Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS), LiDAR, Laser-Induced Fluorescence (LIF), surface treatment, spectroscopy, marking, pumping, Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD), remote sensing, pointer, designator, illuminator, range finder, defense, and security applications.
