The RIO Planex from RIO is an External Cavity Laser that operates at 1064 nm. This single-frequency laser delivers an output power of up to 10 mW and has an excellent single-mode suppression ratio of (SMSR) of less than 50 dB. The laser features very low RIN (-135 dB/ Hz), low phase noise, and narrow linewidth (15 kHz).

The RIO Planex is available in a 14-pin butterfly package with SMF and PM fiber pigtail options. It is suitable for seeding of fiber and solid-state lasers, second harmonic generation (SHG), optical parametric oscillators (OPO), laser spectroscopy, LIDAR, and other precision metrology applications.
