The QL94J6SA from Roithner Lasertechnik Gmbh is an AlGaAs Infrared Laser Diode with an output wavelength of 940 nm. It delivers an optical output power of up to 50 mW and produces single-mode emissions over a wide operating temperature range up to 60°C. The laser diode has a beam divergence of 6-12 degrees (parallel), 23-33 degrees (perpendicular), and a beam angle of ±3° (both parallel & perpendicular). It requires a supply voltage of up to 2.5 V and consumes less than 90 mA of current. This single transverse mode laser is designed using MOCVD (metal-organic chemical vapor deposition) technique with a quantum well structure. It is available in a TO18 package with a flat window and is suitable for industrial applications.
