Laser Diode by SemiConductor Devices

Note: Your Quotation Request will be directed to SemiConductor Devices.

The Ruby Series from SemiConductor Devices is a Quasi Continuous Wave Laser Diode Bar that operates at a center wavelength of 808 nm. It delivers an output peak power of 720 W with a power per bar of 80. This laser diode bar has a spectral width of up to 4 nm and beam divergence below 35° x 10° (at FWHM). It has a conversion efficiency above 52% and duty cycle of 2%.

The Ruby Series is built on RobustHeadTM packaging technology and has a proprietary chip design. It has 9 bars with a bar-to-bar pitch of 0.35 mm and an emitting area of 10 mm x 2.8 mm. This laser diode bar requires a drive current of 80 A and DC supply voltage of less than 17 V. It is available in a robust package and is ideal for diode-pumped solid-state lasers, designators, and range finder applications.
