The M9-975-0500 from Sheaumann Laser is a Continuous-wave (CW) Laser Diode that operates at a wavelength of 975 nm. It delivers an output power of 500 mW and has a slope efficiency of 0.8 W/A. This single-mode laser diode has a beam divergence of 30 degrees (vertical far-field) & 8 degrees (horizontal far-field) at FWHM. It requires a threshold current of 60 mA, DC voltage of 1.9 V, and consumes 680 mA of current. This laser diode has an AR-coated window with an optional photodiode and microlens. It is available in a hermetically sealed 9mm TO-Can package and is ideal for particle image velocimetry (PIV)/flow cytometry, fluorescence excitation (bio), oral surgery, and Raman spectroscopy applications.
